Newcastle Fellowship of the Spirit Group

As a Group we have 2 meetings one a 3 Legacies Meeting and the other a Beginners Meeting they are held on different nights at the top of the page in Meeting Info you will find the address information and in Meetings explained on the left hand side you will find an explanation of the 2 meetings and their meeting formats.

Fellowship of the Spirit Groups Mission Statement

AAs Unity Declaration:

“This we owe to A.A.’s future: to place our common welfare first; to keep our Fellowship united.  For on A.A. unity depend our lives and the lives of those to come.” **

3rd Tradition of AA (Long Form)

Our membership ought to include all who suffer from alcoholism. Hence we may refuse none who wish to recover. Nor ought A.A. membership ever depend upon money or conformity. Any two or three alcoholics gathered together for sobriety may call themselves an A.A. Group, provided that, as a group, they have no other affiliation. **

5^th Tradition (Long Form)

Each Alcoholics Anonymous group ought to be a spiritual entity having but one primary purpose-that of carrying its message to the alcoholic who still suffers. **

AAs Responsibility Declaration:

"I am responsible. When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that: I am responsible." **
